Levi's Marine Fur Puffer

Levi's Strauss & Co. Founded by German immegrant Levi Strauss in May 1853.  A company that strived for durability and fashion.  Geared mainly for working class initially the brand became more prevalent in the 1920's in Western United States (Cowboys, Lumberjacks and Railroad Workers) Later moving into the East during the Dude Ranch Craze in the 1930's and vacationing Easterners raving about the jeans.  Post WWII another craze popped up when blue jeans were declared an essential commodity and were sold only to people engaged in defense work.  Younger generations started taking notice between the 1950s and 1980s, Levi's jeans became popular among a wide range of youth subcultures, including greasers, mods, rockers, and hippies.  The Brand speaks for itself with its long standing presence, we all at one point owned a Levi brand article of clothing!
